Records Request / Criminal Record Information
OBTAINING CRIMINAL RECORD INFORMATION
Types of records are available?
The law requires law enforcement agencies to make public certain records while ensuring that the release of other records does not violate privacy rights. Records not protected by privacy laws or specific exemptions are generally available for public viewing. However, some records or parts of them may be withheld due to privacy concerns.
If you want to know whether you have an outstanding warrant, you must visit an LSPD Community Police Station in person. No warrant information is given over the phone.

To obtain your criminal record information, you must submit the following via mail:

Regulations
- You must fill out your application with the format given, wrong format will not be tolerated.
- You're not allowed to spam or bump your Records Request form in order to be responded, doing so will result on your form being archived.
- You are given a maximum time of 7 days to correct your Records Request form that is put on PENDING status before your form is archived.
- You cannot contact any member of the LSPD to expedite your request.
- Once your request is submitted, you must wait for a response from a Records unit staff's.
- Your criminal record will be provided privately via email (( PM FORUM ))
