    Ride along program is an activity for the community to pick up a person to the seat of Police Department’s cruiser. Ride along program often used by many of departments around the world. There is a minimum age restriction to participate in the program, this restriction is depends on each of the department’s decision, it’s usually around the minimum age of 14 to 18 years old to be able to participate in the program. If the participant is under age of 18, they are able to participate in the Ride Along Program only with the parent’s approval. The person whom having a criminal record are restricted to participate in the program without any exception. The goal of the program is to introduce, explore, and learn on the performance of the officer and examines the law of the city and country.

    The participants in the program of course have many different reason to participate, including their future career as Law Enforcement Officer, a tool as a mean of study and the press who want make a coverage for a news report. Whatsoever it is the Departments around the world welcome and accepts all of the participant whom follows all the protocol and procedure of the program. The Ride Along Program is one of the best ways for the community to have an absolutely magnificent and valuable experience with the Law Enforcement Officer itself regarding the officer’s duty and responsibilities as a law enforcer. We also hope to create and connect a positive accountability with the community (2020 Police Gov. and 2020 Cass County Sheriff’s Office).

      Here are some of the eligibility requirements that applicants have to fulfilled:
      1. The ride along participant must within the age above 18 years old whom don’t have any disabilities or injuries which would prevent them to escape a dangerous situation. Participant within the age under 18 years old must possess an approval letter from the parent's consent by attaching the letter to the form application or after the application is submitted: (( Reply 2 times, first is the application form and the second is the approval letter from the parent that mentions the IC age of the applicant is under the age of 18 )).

      2. The ride along participant must have a clean criminal record or arresting record for misdemeanor or felony violations without any exceptions. The community of Los Santos have the rights of privacy so that any information within the Police Department's data will always be heavily secured.
      3. The ride along participant must wear a neat and tidy clothing, as well as appropriate attire without excessive accessories. Shorts, sweat or jogging clothing, tank top, halter top, ripped clothing, dirty, or showing any inappropriate term or symbol is restricted to participate in the program.       4. The ride along participant is required to show their identification card and have a valid address to the verified, proven to show their ID-Card or any personal identifications.

        Before any action may be implemented, here are some of preference regarding the different situations that highly possible to occurred while in the ride along program. Ride along participant have to follow the officer's instruction, which are as follows:
        1. Pursuit Situations
          1. When inside the cruiser unit, there are possibilities of a pursuit occurred. If the situations do occurred, the officer will stop the program if it is a high risk situations for the safety of the participant.
          2. The ride along participant will be asked to step out of the cruiser if the situation is a high risk dangerous situation and the command still requires more unit. The ride along participant is expected to step out of the cruiser without any argument, and the officer arrange how the participant get back safely or the officer will drop the participant in a safe place.
          3. If there is a shot fire situation, the Ride Along participant will be forced to stay inside the cruiser.
        2. Traffic Stop or Felony Stop
          1. The ride along participant is expected to not speaks to any of the people passing by or stopping beside the cruiser without permission from the officer.
          2. If the officer instructed the participant to stay inside the cruiser, the participant must obey the instruction without any exception. The officer will inform when is safe to exit the cruiser.
        3. The Ride Inside the Cruiser
          1. The ride along participant is not allowed to touch any of the tools inside the cruiser without the officer's permit.
          2. The ride along participant is not allowed to drive the cruiser.
          3. The ride along participant is allowed to take the front passenger seat if the officer is alone during the patrol, and required to take the rear passenger seat if the officer is patrolling with a partner.

        Here are some of the Other Regulations that applicants have to fulfilled:
        1. The ride along participant is not allowed to bring any kind of drugs (exception can be made for participant who have a special treatment).
        2. The ride along participant is not allowed to bring any kind of illegal or even legal firearms without any exceptions (even for FAL owner).
        3. The ride along participant is not allowed to bring any alcohol or other liquor.
        4. The ride along participant is not allowed to smoke any cigarette during the program.
        5. The ride along participant is not allowed to speak inappropriately that does not reflect attitude of a good member of the community.
        6. The ride along participant is not allowed to present themselves as an officer or as a member of the Police Department.
        7. The ride along participant is allowed to stop the program at any given time.
        8. The ride along participant is allowed to bring a camera, stationery, snacks, and drinks.
        9. The ride along participant is only allowed to submit another application form one week after the last Ride Along has been done, or one week after the last application has not been responded by the Police Department.
        10. The ride along participant is given time of one week to call the non-emergency hotline (5-5-5) before the form is marked as expired.
        11. The ride along participant must use a registered account on the official website (( Usergroup Forum 'Registered Account' )).

        1. (( The ride along participant is not required to join and use Team Speak. However, if the participant willing to join and use the Team Speak, it is a must to install Team Speak 3 before making an IC request trough 5-5-5, server nickname will be sent to your Account Forum SAPD privately message )).
        2. (( The ride along participant is not allowed to abusing the Faction Government Frequency for personal or organizational interests )).
        3. (( The ride along participant is not allowed to turn on their microphone during Tactical situation (TAC) or during heavy Roleplay activities )).
        4. (( The ride along participant is not allowed to speak inappropriately )).
        5. (( The ride along participant is always allowed to ask directly on Team Speak if there are any further questions )).
        6. (( The ride along participant is not allowed to disseminate Server Nickname or Address as well as the Server Password to public )).

        Here are some of the terms and conditions that applicants have to fulfilled:
        1. The ride along participant must accept all actions and risks from the officers if you are proven wrong.
        2. The ride along participant must follow all orders from officers based on the Officer's Instructions that have been mentioned.
        3. The ride along participant must comply with all the rules or regulations that have been mentioned.
        4. The ride along participant must accept if the officer cannot accommodate all travel requests that must be completed under certain conditions.
        5. The ride along participant are prohibited from distributing other privileged material obtained, disclosure of criminal information to the public can be considered a crime.
